Ngao:

Ngao at first glance may appear to be low dark hills with smoke rising up throughout the gentle slopes and ash heavy in its air. However, upon closer inspection one can see rivers of red, hot molten lava oozing throughout Ngao, giving the impressed of cracked stained glass. Bright dots cover the landscape. Ngao is the homeplace to a field of shield volcanoes so lava being belched out is a common sight.

However, it remains a sanctuary of bountiful plant life despite the circumstances. Flowers of many kind along with other species of flora can be seen residing in the more calmer parts of Ngao where the volcanoes have not gone off.

Ngao is also most commonly known for being Magawo’s place of residence. No one really knows where he hides but most speculate there is a good reason why there is a particularly large volcano in the center of Ngao. Many warn novice adventurers form seeking Ngao early on due to the high concentration of fire spirits who are always eager to play pranks on unsuspecting victims.
